Lakshmi Poojan happens to be on new moon day (Amavasya) every year. On this auspicious day Pooja of Goddess Lakshmi is performed in order to attract wealth and prosperity in life. Goddess Lakshmi is god of wealth in Hindu mythology and she is also the wife of Lord Vishnu. This Pooja is performed in house, office and other work place on this day. 

On this day house or office is decorated with marigold flowers and lanterns. Portrait of Goddess Lakshmi is decorated with jewelry and other ornaments. Pooja is performed in front of this portrait by pandit. All the devotees seek blessings from this Pooja and believe to get wealth and prosperity.

- No you do not need to pay any Dakshina to the pandit as the Dakshina is already included in our service cost.
